We slept for two days after we got back from New Orleans. Mardi Gras was the same as always. Shocker, I know. Actually it was better this year because it was so early and that kept the tourist away. I met my mom's new boyfriend. He seemed like a good guy. My crazy Aunt Cleo was in town from New York with her grand daughter. She showed up in pearls and a fur coat screaming because her hotel room wasn't exactly like she wanted it. My whole family is a walking cliche. Linda's last surgery didn't go well and she was back in the hospital for most of our visit. That was really a relief since she picked up a new doctor this time; one that seemed to know what he was doing. We spent my birthday at my cousin's house. He has a full bar in his living room if that tells you anything about my family.
What else is new in the incredibly boring world o'mine...?

Rob decided to go to Mercy instead of Queens.

We got a new neighbor who never stays home long enough to go over and meet her.

The tennis courts in the park have been broken up, I'm afraid they might be clear out for the new garden. That is so lame.

I finally had a little extra money and I blew it all on yarn to knit things for other people.

Visart has decided to employ only the biggest social rejects of Charlotte with the exception of the two managers. They seemed disappointed by this which poses the question: why not hire people who are fit to re-enter society?
