I have no idea whats going on with anyone these days and thats crap.
I did get to hang out with Shay very briefly today which was a welcomed surprise. Hopefully I can get away to hang out with her again tomorrow before she leaves.
Kevin just stopped by for a 5 minute visit on his way to catch his ride offshore for 3 days. 3 more days of waiting to talk all this over. 3 more days of wanting, wishing, and waiting. What's 3 more days, really, after 4 years of this?
I was supposed to go hang out with Bill tonight but couldn't get a sitter and ended up having to work instead anyway. Sorry I didn't get the chance to call! I thought I was over the insurance industry when I left Humana, but this is so much cooler since I can do my job from the sofa in front the tv... or in the car waiting for the kids to get out of school. I love my new laptop for this reason as well.
Raima's flower girl dress and shoes cost me a pretty $210 today. But she looks beautiful in it. And maybe she can use it again in the future. Yeah, I said it.
I exposed Vanessa to Vietnamese cuisine today. She absolutely loved it. Come to think of it, I exposed my mom as well since she ate the leftovers. Its about time these people try something other than fried seafood and red beans.
My boss is pretty cool.
Telesia and Doug bought a Mercedes that she didnt want today. The transmission went out on the way home from the dealership, so she spent most of the night here being mad at Doug for moronically buying a car from disaster area without having it inspected for water damage. The computer locked up on them after the 30 MPH drive home and now its just German piece of shit in the driveway that can't be started. This of all things made me laugh today because of just how stupid it really is. Who the fuck needs a Mercedes right now? Especially people that already have 2 vehicles? Doug's excuse was the apocolypse is here and he wants to own something nice before he dies. Ironic.
Speaking of the end of the world as we know it. Anyone nervous about TD24 yet? Maybe I've just spent entirely too much time oblivious to the world around me, but mother nature seems to be kicking a lot of ass lately... I think she's pissed off.
And I think I should get my ass to bed.
