"yup, he is admiring Chuck when he said damn he's good."
Am I the only one who thinks that was a bit OOC of Dan? Didn't Dan still want to punch Chuck's face in after what transpired between C and Jenny? Grr. But, whatever, because it led to a very in character move by Blair, so I guess that makes up for it. ("Shut up, Humphrey," said a very bitter Blair.)
So I cannot understand these FLAMING spec/spoiler/foilers. My brain cannot process that there is this great build-up, and then it will merely end with Serena becoming a more unlikable/unrootable character and Chuck getting a redemption arc on crack/speed/ether/whatever drug.
Yeah, I nearly cried. I told myself not to get so involved with this show because it's so blatantly revolving around Chuck. Really, I should have known better. If the foilers are true, then Gossip Girl has officially lost me. They are actually killing someone to let CB happen. That's just too far, in my opinion. And the fact that Dair has seemed to have such a great build-up and wonderful, in character moments should be blaring obvious the foilers aren't true. But I won't be surprised anyway.
well, as Connor Paolo said in his latest interview, GG is about plot not character. so yeah, there's our explanation for you.
i'm hopeful that the middle management in GG land (also known as the directors) are officially supportive of DAir. at least in their tweets. or rather, they are supportive of story and where the story may go. so yeah, i'm glad the story is going Dair way (heh, bad pun). and if it leaves the Dair way, i hope it does so in an organic, logical fashion since they kept harping on about storytelling.
As much as I love Conner, I hate how it had to be him who made this clear. I mean...one of the actors had to say it. Grrr. I love character development and it seems like GG just doesn't care how much it impacts the audience. Maybe that's why Dair seems to be catching my eye--because it actually shows signs of something akin to growth.
Yeah, it's interesting the producers would support Dair--then there's Norman, who posted a picture of Penn and Leighton goofing off, which was adorable.

Considering how they butchered NB in the worst way possible, I seriously doubt it. GG writers have a way of twisting things. I just hope that if Dair happens and then ends that Dan and Blair won't be serious, hardcore enemies. I'd like to see them as friends or not see each other at all, because otherwise it'd mean that they had a huge falling out that's irreversible and unforgivable.
