WAR IS COMING!
No, not the real thing (well, its is, but you know), but the band WAR is coming to burchum park in Lawrence on friday. I have grown quite a liking to this band, and if I get my unemployment check in time, I am so going. Plus they have all the microbrewers in Lawrence displaying their goods there too. I really really hope I get to go.
Im back in Lawrence after an interesting weekend at home. I came down with a cold, and it is quite miserable. Our Mom is finally seeking the help she needs, which is more than what I could ever ask for. I did a paper for my lit and comp class completely doped up on cold medicine, so that will be interesting to see my grade on it LOL. I was hoping to dedicate a good chunk of my weekend to Final fantasy VII, but that didn't quite work out as planned, at all.
I keep having to ask for gas money and ciggs from people, and I FUCKING HATE IT. You see, I was hoping that I would be even more independent when I moved, but its the opposite because I dont have a job. I really appreciate what everybody has done for me, but I have always been used to buying my own shit, doing things myself, basically relishing adult independence, and the occasional decadence I was entitled to when I started college and hit 21. But like my brother-in-law keeps telling me, "dude, you are a college student, did you expect anything less?". So i am gonna try and take a chill pill for everybody.
