Luke cried out in a near panic as he riffled through his item bag again searching for his little blue friend who was nowhere to be found. He'd already searched his entire cottage, and was starting to wonder if he'd see him again at all.

Damnit, where is he... Mieu!!! MIEU!

I still had why everyone was narrating but, at least no one else seemed to either. One person out of the bunch, however, seemed more distraught over something other than narrating his life. That was sort of interesting. I might as well ask.

Luke didn't even look up from his rummaging, letting out a frustrated, choking kind of a sound.

Damnit, he has to still be here...

Truthfully, I had no idea what a 'cheagle' was. I'd never even heard of one, much less seen it.

He's small enough to get lost that easily?

Mm, only about a foot tall. Stands out, though.

So the thing was reasonably small for a creature, but not that small. I began to wonder why I was bothering. People were careless about their things all the time.

If it stands out, it should be easy to see. If it's not here, it probably ran away.

Luke couldn't help but clench his eyes shut, shaking slightly in memory.

Mieu's the only one who wouldn't abandon me, no matter what. He wouldn't run away!
