[Luke is standing at a cross-shaped monument, circling around it a few times before stopping and crossing his arms over his chest] Hmm... I don't get it. It's not like it looks like anything special, but my sword won't make a dent. And I couldn't even use stuff from, uh, here? to get rid of it, either. [so he circles around it again, and then he sighs]
...
[sighs again, kind of a mix between annoyance and defeat, then Luke murmurs] ... foolish replica Luke.
[nothing happens for a moment, and then the fake Luke appears right in front of the cross]
Well, well. So, the replica has a spine after all. But just what do you really think you can do?
Enough. At least enough to keep you away from everyone else. As long as you're here-
[laughs] And this all means what, exactly? You aren't keeping me from anything at all, you worthless replica.
[rolls his eyes] Don't be too sure. I've figured it out... your dirty trick. The one you used on me that day, when you kept me stuck on this level. Which means you won't be going anywhere. I can promise you that.
[eyes narrow after a moment] Not for long, I assure you. You cannot stand in the way of our rise. You cannot defeat me; you don't have that kind of ability. A mere play at being his student... I am the real thing.
[There's a bright flash that starts from the fake Luke, heading right for the normal Luke... only for it to dissipate moments later from an equally bright light that starts from Luke. The fake Luke glares, growling softly.]
Damn you! How can you sti-
He gave me that power. The power that stopped Van... the power to get rid of you. [Luke holds his hands out, fingertips glowing as he concentrates, before another blinding light comes, and when it's done, the cross and the fake are gone without even the slightest trace, and Luke stumbles back a couple of steps before dropping to one knee and catching himself with one hand on the ground, looking exhausted.]
...
I guess... you're with him now. Wherever that is. Heh. I probably would have given anything for that, at one time.
... I'm sorry. I'm sorry any of this had to happen.
[a sigh, more relieved this time] It's over... for me, anyway. I'm... I'm back.
