Summary: Doojoon makes a deal with the demon to grant his wish.
It was a stupid idea, Doojoon knew that, but it was worth the try and what was there better to do at this forgotten from God place except try this stupid ritual to summon a being that probably doesn't even exist. Oh yea - Doojoon was going to summon a demon to grant his wish; a wish he knows it can come true if he mans up a little, but the problem is: he can't man up, because he's a desperate coward at the age of 18 who is madly in love with his best friend that is sadly a boy. So instead of going and confessing why not try a folktale told by your grandpa at dinner? It won't kill him... unless demons do exist. Then he’s probably screwed.
So here Doojoon was: a metal box in hands with dirt from a graveyard, a picture of himself and bones from black cat inside, and standing in the center of a crossroad twenty minutes away from his grandparent's house and another two hours away from town. The cat bones he dug up are from the black cat he and his sister buried when he was eight years old (he was actually surprised that his grandma didn't move it, since it was buried in her flower garden, but yea; who cares?), and his picture is the one that his friends took of him at a party before Doojoon left to pay his grandparents a visit for the summer (more like a three weeks torture from his parents). The graveyard dirt - it isn’t hard to figure out from where it was.
“Should I burry this?” he mumbled to himself, looking at the dirt path underneath his feet.
After what looked like a century, but it was a five minute struggle, he crouched down and buried the box. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before standing up and opening them again, only to find nothing.
“Thought so.” Doojoon giggled at his own stupidity and turned around to head to his grandparent’s house only to come face to face with a boy around his age, black hair, black jeans and T-shirt, white skin and bloody red eyes. And no - not only the irises but the whole eyes were covered red. He yelped and fell back, eyes never leaving the strange boy before him, who only raised an eyebrow and looked bored and ready to yawn.
“I don’t get you humans. You call us and then you yell and back away scared.” He said and stared at Doojoon (who somehow got on his feet) with now normal human-like eyes.
“You’re a demon?” the teenager asked skeptically.
“Yes, genius. And you’re human. Now, why don’t we get you a noble prize instead of that blondie you want for a boyfriend?” the demon said exasperated and smirked at Doojoon’s shocked expression. “You thought I would come here unprepared?”
“Well… I didn’t think you would come.” The demon rolled his eyes and leaned forward, inches away from Doojoon’s face and screwed his eyes a little.
“Don’t waste my time. If you want that friend of yours to become your boyfriend - fine by me. I’ll grant your wish and then get your soul after 10 years without much effort…” he started when Doojoon backed away, eyes wide.
“10 years?!”
“Yes. 10 years. You’ll be 28, that’s a good age to die.” The demon said while thinking and nodding to himself.
“No! I don’t want to die at 28! What did I even try doing?!” Doojoon scoffed and walked past the demon, but he was only three steps away when the being made him freeze.
“Go ahead. Confess to your blondie childhood best friend. Let’s see his reaction after he’s madly in love with a girl from the chorus club.” When Doojoon turned around the demon was checking out his nails, lips pursed and a bored expression. After a few seconds he looked up and raised an eyebrow at Doojoon. “Weren’t you headed somewhere?”
“What did you say?” Doojoon asked slowly and took a cautious step towards the demon.
“Oh, didn’t you know? I’m sorry for breaking the news. I guess he still hasn’t called you.” The demon shrugged while smirking at Doojoon. “He was planning to, though.”
“You mean he’s…” Doojoon started, rooted at his spot, while the demon walked behind him and rested his hands on Doojoon’s shoulders, lips only millimeters from the teenager’s ear.
“Straight; in love with a beautiful girl with long black hair, who is nice and angelic. I think she had a thing for him too. They will be a nice couple. Too bad you’ll have to watch them all your life.” With that the demon stepped away from Doojoon and the brunette heard his retreating footsteps before he turned around and asked him to wait. The demon did turn back, eyebrow raised, hands in his pockets. “What?”
“I’ll make the deal.” Doojoon whispered, head low and eyes shut.
“Sorry, I didn’t hear ya?” the demon teased taking a step towards Doojoon.
“I said I’ll make the deal!” Doojoon shouted and was met with the demon’s smirk. “I want to date Yoseob.”
“As you wish.” The black haired boy lookalike straightened up and took a step towards Doojoon and the teenager backed away again, making the being sigh. “Now what?”
“How… will you take my soul?” Doojoon asked timidly.
“Since we can’t crawl back from Hell whenever we like; the practice is to send the hounds.”
“Hounds?”
“Yea, they’re not really loving beings, but they do their job.” The demon shrugged and looked Doojoon in the eyes. “Got scared?”
“No… Can I add something to the… deal?” the demon rolled his eyes and showed Doojoon to continue. “I want to date Yoseob, and you to collect my soul after 10 years.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. It can’t be worse than a hound.”
“We’ll see about that.” the demon kissed Doojoon fiercely with that, making the teen close his eyes and feel the burning in his throat. When he released him he whispered to the teen that the deal is now set and when Doojoon opened his eyes the figure of the boy was nowhere to be found.
After that night Doojoon felt like it didn’t happen. He never summoned the demon; he never talked to him, selling his soul to get Yoseob as boyfriend. It just felt like a bad nightmare. However that was until Yoseob called telling him he had to tell Doojoon something important: and that was the night before the black haired teen had to travel back home. So of course he will get his hopes up, having the deal in mind; of course he will leave the luggage to his parents at the train station and tell them he had something urgent to do and he will be back home later, not letting them tell him anything except “how was visiting your grandparents like?”; of course he will dash to Yoseob’s home just to see what will the boy tell him.
“I… I’ve been thinking a lot lately and… I l-like you. Like… in the like like way.” And of course these will be the words that come out of his friend’s mouth when they meet. It’s natural for him to kiss him after that, right? It’s just how things should progress. His relationship with his childhood friend should start like that and they will live happily ever after, right?
So why does he see the demon boy helping his mother put the table when he comes home; and why does his parents tell him that this boy - Junhyung - will be staying with them from now on (words like ‘father’s high school friend’s child’ pass by his ears); and why does this boy - Junhyung - come and greet him with a:
“Hello, it’s nice to meet you.” Smirking and holding his hand out.
He should have read the small text before signing the deal.

Hi-yeom~ =D I got my laptop today! And I will part with it tomorrow again~ ... but I got all the info on it, and if I have time tomorrow I'm going to work on GuardiANgells! I found some sketches and scribbles today that I had done about the story and I got awestruck. What have I been doing with the story?! .....
But that's not the time for that.
This story here is something I started after getting hooked on watching 'Supernatural', but I'm not going to keep up with the serial's ideas about the demons and all and it will be divided in a few parts that go trough the 10 years (for now I have 4 planned. Doesn't mean they will be 4)
And don't get your hopes too much - it's 2jun. That's the main pairing.
And my word is the law here. =D
