It was the funnest I've had in a long time. Even though the place sucked (Midland). It was so flat, and hot, and gross. Well Cori came over Saturday night and we watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Scary Movie 3, and we finally went to sleep around 1. Then my dad woke us up and we had to leave around 5. We were so tired, and our flight was at around 7, so we couldn't fall asleep on the plane. We were watching Mean Girls but without sound because the headphones were five dollars and we didn't feel like spending money on them. We then arrived to Houston, which i thought was retarded because Houston is past Midland. Then we had to wait an extra two hours for our other flight at 230 to go to Midland. Now this flight was on a small plane, it was weird. We arrived at Midland around 5, and we rented out a white car, and it had automatic doors. Then we went to Holiday Inn (our hotel), and we were in room 418 (me and cori), and my dad,mom, and my brother were in room 419. Me and Cori then met up with Buck, and went to her room. We went to Jess' room, and almost everyone was in there, and we watched Mean Girls. After the movie, we had a little team meeting, saying our first game was on Tuesday at 400. Monday we had a big cermony at the First American Bank Ballpark. It was neat, but the food sucked. I bought a sweatshirt and some shirts, and after a while we had to go on the field and walk, and we didn't have any coaches. When we were sitting some girl in a row before us turned around and said this famous line "Where's ya'll coaches". Ah, we will always remember that. Then we went back, and had practice at Five. Then we won all our games (Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday) , but on Saturday we lost to Minors Gold (2-0). We won the other games on Saturday, and on Sunday we beat USA Athletics (9-8) and lost to Minors Gold. So we placed 3rd out of 96 teams in that tournament. We had some pretty awesome times. We watched lots of movies like Mean Girls (7 times), Jersey Girl, Shrek 2, 13 Going on 30, Troy, and some other ones. They had the coolest ping pong table we spent lots of time on. Cori is the best player. I think I'm getting one (hopefully). Oh man, I just had a great week overall with TNL. Can't wait until next year. I still missed my best friend.
