For those who don't know me,
Hi, pleased to meet you. I'm Jess, I'm nineteen. I live in Queensland, Australia, on the Sunshine Coast which means it is always ridiculously hot, but I kind of love it here anyway. However, come February, I will be packing up my toys, selling my soul, and moving to the city due to a change in university.
At the moment I am being killed by uni, where I'm majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in English. Obviously, I write, and it's basically my life goal to get a novel published. WE'LL SEE.
But to skip the boring parts and move on to something more interesting: fandoms! I've been in bandom for about 5 years now, however due to all the recent epic fails in bandom and well... The fact that there are not many bands in bandom anymore, I've sort of jumped ship. If you're here for bandom, I'm still around but to a much lesser extent.
My main fandom these days is Supernatural, this is where you will find me. As of season 6 I've stopped watching Supernatural for various reasons, but I still have lots of ties to the fandom and it will always be one of my loves, I'm just not active in fandom.
NEW FANDOM! I've been abducted into The Vampire Diaries. Sue me. It makes me capslock heavily and keysmash often and I can't stop talking about it. SERIOUSLY I WANT EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THIS SHOW EVER.
MORE NEW FANDOMS! THE SOCIAL NETWOOOORKKKKKKK. this literally has taken over my life. I will talk about Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg and Armie Hammer and JT and Aaron Sorkin and David Fincher and THE FUCKING SOUNDTRACK until I am blue in the face, both IRL and here. FUCKING JEWNICORNS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. Mostly my TSN flailing happens on tumblr though, so I think you're relatively safe.
EVEN MORE NEW FANDOMS. I am forever editing this post to try and keep it up to date. SO HELLO I HAVE BEEN EATEN BY X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. okay this movie is amazing and i love it and it's such a breath a fresh air to the X-Men series and mcfassy is all I've ever wanted in my life so I currently obsess over this A LOT. If you follow me on tumblr you know this already. I also now RP as Erik Lensherr/Magneto at firstclass_rp which is an amazing place that you should come and join.
THE AVENGERS AND EVERYTHING IT CHOOSES TO BE. seriously. this fandom is already amazing and the movie isn't even out yet.
Also, White Collar. eugfy9apujrioegyufp9rjitoijer I just love this show okay. It's gotten me to write fic again which I haven't done in like 2 years so in my book that is always a plus. COME AND TALK TO ME ABOUT BOMER'S BEAUTIFUL FACE.
I'm also heavily into LOTR though due to my age I kind of missed the majority of the actual fandom. Therefore I make do with my own capslocky excitement and rewatches every month or so, and re-reads when I get the energy (SO WORTH THE EFFORT EVERY TIME) SO hit me up with that shit. Or if you're watching LOTR tell me and I'll join. Anything. idec. Also, Aragorn is a hotass. I think that needs to be said. I have a major ridiculous crush on Viggo Mortensen, he is hands down the perfect man for me on all counts, and so I also fangirl him a lot. Sorry.
If you hadn't figured it out already, I'm kind of a huge nerd. I enjoy watching Disney movies and Pokemon and Harry Potter is a huge part of my life. I honestly couldn't care less about what people think of this. :D
Musicwise, MCR will always hold my heart. My boyyysssssss they are my first music loves and they shall be with me forever. HIM are my forever loves who are always so fucking consistent in how perfect they are so major major major love there. I'm pretty heavily into The Beatles as well, despite being born far too late. Also: Empires. Those failtards stole my heart and refuse to let go. I have a pretty giant music collection, so I'm always up for talking about that.
I have no idea what else. I often get the urge to randomly use capslock mid-sentence? I post mostly flailing about fandom crap intermixed with RL stuff, which is why my journal is friends only. I post some pretty personal stuff in here sometimes, and I like to get to know my f-list well enough that I feel comfortable doing that. So talk to me! Don't be a stranger :)
