I will be in your area Sept. 10-12 (Thursday-Saturday), for a Selichot gig at the 5th ave synagogue. Possibly for a day or two on either end, depending on availability of folks who want to see me, and housing. 10 PM Saturday, Sept. 12, at 5th ave synagogue, for Selichot services. I haven't been given any music yet, and probably won't until the first rehearsal on thursday, so I can't tell you exactly what you'll hear. I'm told it's a very orthodox synagogue, though. They appear to be hiring folks on every voice part, at considerable expense, so I imagine there will be some good music to make that worth their while.

It's okay. Everything went very well, though, and I'm (unofficially) invited to return next year.
