in the spirit of Yom Kippur:
I forgive all of you for any wrong or harm you might have done to me, consciously or unconsciously, deliberately or accidentally. As I forgive those who have hurt me, I ask forgiveness from all of you for any wrong I might have done to you, consciously or unconsciously, deliberately or accidentally. Let's start fresh and do better in the coming year.
So yeah, Yom Kippur technically ended about 4 hours ago, at sundown, but I didn't get around to writing that before or during the holiday. Besides, the sentiment is the important part, and the timing more a technicality. Yom Kippur is always a long day of fasting, particularly for choir members who attend many services twice. Our temple can't fit everyone in at one time, and both services need a choir. I get tired far more easily when I'm undernourished and dehydrated, but I guess that's part of the point, to keep going through it. Aunt Nancey and Lia came up to visit, and it was good to see them. They'll be here until tomorrow morning.
I'm a little more settled into routine now than the last post, but nothing really substantial has changed. I love my jobs. Apple is a lot of fun, and I was a big proponent of their products long before they paid me to be. And, All-Saints...well, I'm getting paid to sing. Need I say more? I spent so much of my life singing for free, or at some points even paying for the opportunity, just because I love it so much. Leeds is still fun, but not performing yet. And I get to see Elena again in less than 3 days! <3
