I loved how you portrayed Padmés awakening to the painful truth. How in her passing she's given (in a roundabout way) Obi-Wan a second chance to make things right.

I enjoyed as well how she comes to understand that the path to hell is always paved in good intentions. How she believes that through her death some honour can be restored.

Very powerful and wonderfully done! m(_ _)m

Thank you!

I see her death as a kind of redemption. I'm glad you liked that. :)

Oh, I like this. I love the bitter irony of her having been the person to usher in that bleak new era. And her complete loss of hope from seeing not just Anakin transform into a monster but the Republic itself....

And that last sentence is just absolutely heartwrenching. :(

This drabble explained it well.

Padme, was such a fighter and now she has a reason ...to die.

That last sentence brought tears to my eyes.

I'm glad you liked it! :)

It has always puzzled me that a fighter like her would just give up. So I tried to understand what might've been happening in her head...

There are people who have a hard time with her death, i.e. how did such a strong person just give up, especially with newborns who need her? The story explains it rather well. Maybe it isn't so much giving up as it is the realization too much bad karma is upon her. I've always argued that had she remained alive, Vader would not have stopped looking for her.

I am one of those people. I have always wondered why such a strong-willed woman basically chose to die rather than live to raise her children and help the Rebellion. I always thought Anakin/Vader was an important factor, but there had to be more to her reasoning.

Thank you for reading.

He still has a reason to live. She only has a reason to die.

Powerful, gut-wrenching and beautiful. Loved this, hun.

Thank you! *hugs*

Oddly enough, I didn't even realise I was writing tearjerker material. *is surprised*
