Okay sooooo....i'm updating again! with pictures! YAY! My show choir (DIAMOND BAR SINGERS) went to a competition on saturday, april 1st! we were hella stressed and crap. Not too much drama tho. So much hair spray and makeup tho. the songs we sang were Seize the Day (from Newsies), Colors of the Winds, Dancing in the Aisles, and Footloose! FUN FUN FUN! ~_~ yeah we got on the way too small stage and performed then since we were the last group to go in our division we went straight back to the awards ceremony! AND OMG! We won 2nd place and overall best showmanship! HELLZ YA! None of the other choirs thought we would win anything since we like never worked except for the last two weeks leading up to the competition, but hey we're lucky.
Right after i got back to school on the bus from the competition i had to fun to the dance room AKA the girls' dressing room to change into my costume for the show (MY FAIR LADY). We played a lot of music in the dressing room. We had a really long green room where everyone won awards! I was voted cutest freshman (FYI there were only four freshman all together). Yeah it was fun! Then after the show (It was like 10 PM by then), i went home to change to go to the cast party. It was fun. Even the techies came. Lotsa food makes me happy. ^_^ yeah stayed there and hung out till like....2 AM then went home and went to sleep!
