Name: Tracy
Age: Um, older than you? ;) 40 actually.
Location: Chilly Canada
Fandoms: I only have one real fandom, Battlestar Galactica (the reimagined series). But I love Burn Notice, Heroes, Chuck, Eureka and anything made by Joss Whedon, particularly Firefly. (God Nathan is amazing)
Interests: Lots of stuff, but primarily music and writing. I'm a musician by training but I write fanfiction and dabble in original fiction as well.
About you: I'm a full time mom with 3 boys, aged 10, 5 and 2. They're sweet but a handful. :)
What your journal consists of: Anything I happen to feel like rambling about, mostly my family and whatever observations about life the universe and everything that occur to me. Sometimes memes too because I find them amusing.
Anything else you may like to add: I'm a friendly person and enjoy making new friends but I do like to actually communicate with friends, so stopping by to visit my journal now and then and say hi is pretty much a requirement. I'll do the same for you as fair is fair, right? :)

where in canada do you live? and...nathan fillion is AWESOME

lol your meme sounds like my best friend's, almost. her favorite tv show in the world is buffy, she loves spuffy. and she wants to work for joss one day, she loves all his stuff. and she just got into battlestar with her brother, she loves it. if im not mistaken, their almost caught up with all the seasons.

i like battlestar, though my sci-fi channel is always fuzzy so i don't bother, but usually i would be watching the sci-fi channel as one of my regular watched channels.

I live in Winnipeg. Cold, winterpeg. :) Although it warmed up here over the weekend so it's not quite so bad. This winter has been a KILLER so far.

I don't have cable so I don't get it through Space, the network that airs it here, but we buy it on iTunes. That's how we get all our TV. :)

aww, there is netflix, you could rent the DVD and also if you can, burn them to keep.

i've only been to toronto, metro area. my family did a road trip many years back and we only went to there, we didn't have enough time to go to other places in canada and make it back before school started for me. my dad has been everywhere in canada, i want to go and visit more places there.

I grew up just outside Toronto, in Oakville actually. (If you've heard of it.) I like it there but it's much nicer here. Canada is really a very neat country, geography-wise, and I haven't even seen all of it. :) Someday ...

i've heard of oakville, but im sure there are quite a few oakvilles in the world or the states alone so...lol.

yes, i want to visit a few places in Canada. when we were younger, my dad wanted to take us to places he has been so we get to see them too, mostly Canada cause that was the cheapest and the closest to visit (as much as a few other places) but we became busy and things happen so we didn't get to go. he still wants to, but money is now an issue. damn recession in the states...im watching the inauguration as we speak, so hopefully things will look up soon.

There's 2 Oakvilles in Manitoba alone. :)

Canada is a cool place. And I don't just say that because I live here. It's so different depending on where you go - the scenery but also the people. It's almost like a bunch of separate countries. There are a lot of places here I'd love to visit too ... one day when the kids are older perhaps.

I REALLY hope Obama is able to help make the change that is necessary. The USA is suffering terribly, and in consequence, so is the rest of the world. We all need a change!
