11x01 Unstable
This journal entry does not have any graphics but is merely a place for me to vent my feelings about the episode at hand which is the series premiere of season 11 called Unstable. Now the episode itself was good...I mean of course it's SVU. & I like the new ADA, I think she adds some fiestyness and some rivalry that isn't usually there.
The thing that really got to me and that part I focused on most was the issue.
The issue: A man was wrongly convicted and even though it has been proven he was wrongly convicted he can not get out of prison because the man who actually did it committed suicide before the process of getting the man out of jail was completed.
My feelings: That is CRAP. I don't care if the perp died, there is proof that the man in jail is innocent. If this is how the law really works [which I assume it is] then it needs to be changed. I don't know all the legistics of what went down but I do know it is just plain wrong for a man who didn't commit the crime to stay in jail. Jails are full there is no need to keep a man who did nothing in jail. I am just furious about this. I'd be so pissed if that was me. No one beilieves you and when they finally realize you were right you still have to suffer. WTF man, wtf.
Anyway...those are my thoughts on the episode. I know I didn't say anything about the hot new guy or Mariska Hargitay or Chris Meloni but I have a feeling I'll have much to say in later episodes.
