BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS

I wasn’t ready for something of this caliber. I’m 27 at the time but really only have the experience and knowledge of an immature, young teenager. This reminds me how I found out how old I was. I was at the Rock N’ Round Up with both of my parents. For some reason I was asked if I knew how old I was and I said “I’m 21.” It was then that Mom said “Lee, Its 1985 now and you fell when you were 21 in 1979. Your 27 years old.’ (Sue: Wow, was that hard to comprehend! Aging 5 years in a second)

There is a college here called The University of North Carolina, Charlotte but I couldn’t afford that and found a Community College not far away, Central Piedmont Community College…Lets GO!

This came about after my release from the Hilton, they finally woke up. It has now become extremely obvious to me I needed to learn a lot more than I know. I’m now laying tile with a friend I met here as I decide to return to college. I had struggled in algebra back at Muskegon Community College because of those arrays of formulas I had to remember. I then ran into a real good Professor in Charlotte at Central Piedmont Community College.

My memory wasn’t ready when I first started out in college. The professor in Charlotte was very good at explaining and making it fun to learn, I got an A in beginning Algebra. I then took Intermediate Algebra and I aced it also. I then fought through College Algebra I, and II and got an A and B. I was real proud of myself; I realized then I wasn’t as stupid as some made me feel.
