Mother's Day
Mother's Day was awesome. Ev was so happy about the presents that she made. She lined them all up on the kitchen table so they would be ready when I got out of the shower and then ran in to tell me they were ready. She gave me a flower, made a cool clay face ornament and these really cool flowers. They were made of straws and pipecleaners and wrapped to look like they were delivered. Inside the wrapper there was a note. It said, "My mom's name is: Shelly. She is: 38 years old (I am 35). Her favorite food is: salad (I wish). Her favorite thing to do is: Clean up." Adorable.
Violet was out of daycare sick for three days last week. When I got there this morning, there was a gift from her too. It was her hand and foot prints in paint on popsicle sticks and put into a small bucket to look like growing flowers. It's on my desk at work. I super love it.
Kevin kept spiking my day with really good liquor all day. I went to sleep at 9:30 pm.
Today, I am just back to regular mom, but yesterday was pretty cool.
