You know, moving up to NY was pobably the best thing that I have ever done. Things are saner, there's no bullshit around here. Given I don't let myself et into all the bullshit drama like I did in NJ, but goddamned its a beautiful life up here. Every time I wake up and walk downstairs and look outside my front door....I am so happy. I have never felt so content anywhere else. I think I have found my world. Where no one looks down on you for what you choose to do. Where your friends are your friends no matter what you do. They love you for who you are not what you do or what type of money you make. I never thought in my life that I would feel as great as I do about moving out of Maryland.....but NY is probably the greatest state ever. People are way openminded. Given there are always those douchebags that don't like you cause of the color of your hair or the tattoos you have, but up here they seem to be few.
I got compliments all night at work and that made me feel awesome. I know I am good at what I do, and it always feels good to hear strangers say that.
