quick update now with 50% less rambling:

well, lucas didn't buy the house. on the bright side i used some of the money i had earmarked for rent to buy a scooter a friend of his at work was selling. i didn't even really know i wanted a scooter again since i don't go out often, but much like my laptop, as soon as i had it i enjoyed it so much i wondered why i hadn't gotten it much earlier:

quick rundown: hits 50 mph rather easily, 100+ miles a gallon, steering and seat compartment keylock, adjustable shocks+footpegs for passenger, cellphone indicator in dash lets you know your phone is ringing, electric and kick start, 4 speed manual transmission

already got a flat tire...probably on some broken metal i found on the floor of the basement. replacement tube shouldn't cost much but getting to the wheel so i can change it looks like it's going to be quite involved. i was all set to go out for the weekend but now i'm just going to read and watch more lost episodes instead.

one of my older mopeds i bought from kevin o. it took me to bel air and back many times that summer and winter and eventually got stolen when i left it parked too long in josh's backyard. hell rides were constant due to impatient motorists behind me on hills and driving it when it was in the 30's. also, the headlights constantly burned out and i had two broken handbrakes on it held together with bungee cords...very difficult to operate with 2 pairs of gloves on.

vincent likes to hang out in my woods and balcony. he belongs to my neighbor who owns the horses, but he always hunts and frolicks down here.

i need to draw more often. it's hard for me to do any one thing for more than an hour lately...even if i read for a couple of hours it's only if i go between 3 books and a magazine or two. i don't think i posted any of these yet...maybe i still shouldn't, they have a coloring book, unfinisehd look to them:
