Long post(more video and pics under the cut), maybe the last for a while. Typing and uploading photos takes so much time... for me at least! I read several interesting and constantly updated blogs written by people who somehow are working full time, raising a kid or two, traveling constantly, watching multiple hours of tv a day and I don't do any ( Read more... )

If I lived next to Wegman's or a chinese restaurant eating out would seem a little better. The prices would still be comparably high but it would be a balanced, fairly good meal. There's the whole social aspect to consider, also, but usually I'd rather talk to people one on one than be at a dinner table or party where there are 10 inane conversations going at once. Those settings aren't very conducive to anything other than small talk. When I hear people talk about ambiance and crap like that my brain shuts down. Then there's bars, which exist solely so people can drink in front of each other and experience some false comradery. Drinks even more blatantly over priced than a soda at McDs. No, no, no. 12 dollars there is 2 drinks and tips. At my house it's enough to drink 6-12 different nights, listen to music I like, hang out with frogs.

You should have long days to write. You're a good writer. I feel like a lot of your journal entries could be developed into an essay or chapter in a book. You talk about things very honestly and I'm sure there is a market out there for something like that. Or you could get free stuff to review on your blog. I don't know how people go about setting up those initial contacts with companies or magazine editors. Maybe they start with shameless self promotion. Sometimes it's just the whims of the internet.

I don't even remember proper sentence structure and punctuation. I used to be able to spell every word, too. I used to always get a word wrong on purpose in spelling bees so I wouldn't have to advance to whatever the next round was. Reading no longer helps me with any of that.
