Dogs and swings
"Dogs and swings, it's just a bunch of crazy dogs and swings"--to the tune of "Guys and Dolls"
I took Puffy for a really nice walk, and I swung on the swings! I kept pumping faster and faster and I got really giddy and the sky was whirling and I was imagining flying across a meadow on a horse...a dark bay horse named Ellie...and we flew into the sky!!!!!!!!!!! So I'm pretty calm. I'm going to study tonight, and I get to sleep in tomorrow! I have a test in Spanish and a test on Georgraphy geography next week. Grrr...I keep putting the r after 'geo' in geography. I don't get it!
But I swung...sometimes I just swung for the fun of it, watching the dizzy sky, sometimes I pretended to ride, sometimes I thought I could just reach out and touch the sky.
