New Smallville this week. Not only does this episode mark Oliver's return, it is also Justin Hartley's directorial debut. I had mixed feelings on the episode prior to watching it, because much like 'Booster', it felt like it was centered not on Clark and considering we only have a few episodes left, that doesn't make me happy

I also loved the end when Clark realized that he'd been gone for 3 weeks - that was the real payoff for Lois's 'we don't give up' speech. Good stuff.

Exactly. I don't want to complain too much, because I want to enjoy what's left of the show but it's frustrating.
Who really needed to see Zod again - he was dealt with perfectly last year. But I did love how Clark used his knowledge of Zod and his trust in Ollie to get free.
Right? He got a perfect conclusion, but like you, it was great to see Clark outsmart Zod once again and the boys actually working together to save themselves.

Agreed! His face when he realized that she had been waiting for 3 weeks just killed me, and I really wanted to give Lois a hug. That really was a beautiful Clois scene.

Awesome! Someone joked that she stole Emil's glasses and I was like "ooh, yes! they do look like his!" That made my Tess/Emil shipping heart happy. XD

Yay! I'm really overlooking the faults in season 10 and enjoying what I like so I think some of my opinions on episodes of later are rather unpopular. It's nice to know there's someone who feels the way I do. :)
