Yah!! So exciting! After another dry spell of Collie stories, there have a few recently, but a new one from you (and a multi-chapter to boot!) is always a treat! And the opening chapter definitely didn't disappoint. While it is a familiar concept, that doesn't mean it can't be new and interesting at the same time ;-)
I'm glad you're excited and enjoying the fic so far! It's a shame that there's not a lot of people writing Collie but considering how Clois/Lollie/Chlollie centric s9 was, I can understand that the muses might not be inspired. This fic won't be very long (unlike my other multi-chapter stories) but it will definitely be a couple of chapters more. I am hoping to throw some surprises in the fic, so stay tuned!

I loved the opening scene with Clark and Ollie at the fortress...so much promise, all that lovely flirting and then Clark's gone!
I am happy to hear that the scene worked for you. I wanted them to have something but try not to make it seem too OOC.

But it was always something I wondered in the show - Ollie obviously knows something is up with Clark, but you never actually see them talking about it (at least I haven't seen it up to the end of season 7, which is where I've seen up to) so you don't know if Ollie actually knows Clark is an alien or just assumes he's meteor infected.
In s8, it becomes obvious that he knows the secret. IDK when it happened, but Oliver definitely knows. Justin's a regular that season though ... in s7, he was only in one episode, so it is hard to tell.

And good job too with the "everything is wrong" part. But if there is anyone who won't let people talk him out of finding out what's wrong and fixing it, Ollie is that person! Though I do hope we actually get to see some Ollie/Clark interaction somewhere ;-)
Yes, I can imagine Oliver would be the type to stick to his guns. There will be Oliver/Clark interactions, mostly dreams but it's there. ;)
