This was really sweet. And I loved the throwback to their younger days. Even then Lois' had a soft spot for him. And nothing escapes that steel trap brain of his. The really did pick each other up when they felt down and out. I think Martha always knew that she'd be good for Clark too. That's why she encouraged her the way she did.. They really do balance each other out nicely.

Yay! The prompt I got was 'harley', but I definitely enjoy bringing it up. I am happy to hear that it worked. And yes, Lois had a soft spot for him always. She just didn't want to admit it. ;)

I can imagine this to be true. He's a sentimental type of guy and we love him for it!

Yup, even when they were fighting, they were always there for each other. I know some people think Clois happened suddenly, but I feel their relationship has progressed nicely through the seasons. :D Martha totally knew and for them, the opposites attract theory applies. Besides, Martha knows what it's like to fall for a Kent. LOL
