I liked this. Especially from Oliver's point of view. It's fun to get out of Clark's POV, sometimes, and this worked for me.

As for the 'intimate scenes' problem, I know what you mean. I can't write smut, to my eternal regret. I'm trying, though. What you have here worked quite well. In terms of advice, I'll tell you what I'm trying. I've been reading over the fics I know with well-written 'intimacy' and trying to find out what works. And I've been reading and finding out what doesn't, at least for me, which includes the whole 'the younger man reached for the older' thing. Avoid being crude or overly euphemist as in a bad trashy romance novel, and I guess just write what works for you.

And keep trying. Practice makes, if not perfect, at least much better.

thanks! i'm glad u liked it. :) i usually don't write outside of clark's POV but i thought it would be fun.

i'm just too shy to write smut. eventually i may work up to it but i think i'll wait till i'm a little more experienced. i'm still a new writer. :D

thanks for the advice though! i'll keep that in mind if i ever get up the nerve. :D
