Perfect moment of a very busy day-curling up with a bowl of Caesar Salad in my favourite armchair and basking in the warm breeze, while gawking at a windowful of blue summer sky hemmed with the green and white of city. Bliss.

…Of course, then _this_ happened:

Svet: *absent-mindedly notes the unfair ratio of meat vs. lettuce in salad*
Svet’s mind, helpfully: Too much salad, not enough Caesar? :D
Svet *pauses mid-chew*: ………..O___O
Svet: *laughs so hard she cries*

…I am my own worst enemy XD

Honestly though, isn’t it kind of weird, the way some foods are named and labeled? I mean, you got yer picture of a fish on the tuna can.. And then you got a baby head on baby food cans. >.> I remember a Russian comedian doing a skit about this about 11 years ago-I didn’t quite get it back then. Yay for the slow but sure desensitizing of my sense of humor. *snerk*

P.S. BTW, I realize that ‘windowful’ is not a real word, just in case anyone is wondering. :D One of these days I’ll start a Svesaurus, which will be a list of all the lovely little words I make up and insist on using, because I’m too lazy to hunt down the proper ones. For example, I really like ‘hushingly’. That one I made up and snuck into one of my high school short story assignments, about 7 years ago, because I couldn’t find a word/expression tidy enough to succinctly convey what I had in mind. *lazy* The teacher called me on it and I hastily claimed ESL-age, but today I take that back and present you with:

hush-ing-ly -- adv.
1. marked with effort to hush (e.g. to argue hushingly)

And now a question to all you fine English-speaking people, with the noble goal to further my education and perhaps close a shameful gap in same-IS there a proper word/tidy expression to convey the aforementioned concept?
