Wimbledon (Days 1 and 2)
My absolute favorite tennis tournament just started and I find that I am having a lot more trouble than usual getting up in time to watch some of the earlier matches. This does not bode well for the rest of the tournament.
Roger Federer looks like a fool in his white and gold suit. This a tennis tournament not a fashion show. I hope Nike is paying him a lot of money to wear that ridiculous thing.
Andy Roddick is through to the 2nd Round.
Novak Djokovic looks like he's going to have another short stay in London unless he can get over whatever problem he's having with his footing/ slipping and sliding all over the grass.
Dinara Safina also really hates the grass but she better do well in this tourney unless she wants to look like she's even less deserving of the number one seed than most people already think she is. At least. she won her first round match unlike her brother.
Serena Williams' ego is as large as ever but at least she has the talent to back it up. Let's not have a repeat of the infamous oncourt screaming and rolling around in pain from leg cramps like in 07. BTW, how could she possibly have won that match? Hantuchova seriously chocked.
Lleyton Hewitt is still a jerk. He should either keep his mouth shut or retire already.
James Blake was upset. Poor guy. He hasn't had much luck in slams this year.
