Booooo Seasonal Purgatory!

Mar 25, 2008 17:03

Sooo it has now passed into seasonal purgatory. That lovely time where the snow is melting in a painfully slow manner, and while there are signs of spring, it is still very clearly not spring yet. This is easily my least favorite time of year. All I have to do is survive till the first warm sunny day. Then I'll be okay.

I just realized that it has been a good long while since I last posted here, so I shall recap my life for archival reasons as well as to inform any of you who might wish to read this. Sooo pretty much right around the last post, I bought a snowboard! And pretty much fell in love with snowboarding. There's something about it that's just amazingly fun. So this coming winter, myself and a few to potentially a bunch of friends from school here are going to take a snowboarding trip! We're thinking of going to Whiteface up near Lake Placid. That place looks intense. Hooray! Now I actually have some reason to go out and enjoy winter! So that's pretty freaking fantastic.

Ummm lets see, what else have I done recently.....I went to NJ and NYC briefly, thats always a good time, seen a bunch of people home for spring breaks, and still climbing. Soo yeah. As soon as it's warm, I'm going to add frisbee to my weekly (if not daily) activities. I miss playing SO bad.

Oh! I have no idea how I almost didn't mention this, but I bought my ticket to go to Bonnaroo! I'm super excited about that! Sooo many good bands! Wheeeee!

I'm really hoping I make more money between now and summer so that I can take like a month off of work and travel allllll around. On the list now are cape cod, rhode island, boston, nyc, jersey (to visit the parental units), new hampshire, maine, the adirondacks, the gunks, new paltz/rosendale, maybe some backpacking somewhere, and pretty much anything else that I want to do. Like chilling on lakes at cottages (hint hint you cottage owners) annnnnd playing lots of frisbee.

I always get crazy worked up when I think about my summer plans. I feel all jumpy now.

Perhaps I'll post a music-related post at some point, if anyone really cares. Well, I probably will anyways. I don't need your approval. I'm a REBEL BABY! YOU CAN'T HOLD ME DOWN!

Hehehehe.

Peace!

Music Recommendation- Flogging Molly-Float (the song AND the album)

New album from flogging molly! Easily worth picking up! It's quite good! Didn't blow my mind or anything, but a solid release nonetheless.
