Its good to know I can still get as childlishy excited about things as I came over all peculiar whilst buying the new Interpol single before. On the face of things it sounds quite chipper, well as chipper as interpol can evr sound, until you realise paul banks is singing 'look what you've done to my heart/and my soul/its just a wasteland now'. SOB!. Also used some of the excessive number of vouchers I've got to get the new Twilight Singers (or Greg Dulli's Twilight Singers as they seem to be known) CD called 'She Loves You'. For those who dont know,, its a covers CD and after listening to the first four songs its sounding like it could be greg's best for years, certainly the best under the twilight singers banner. It was releasing a load of covers that preceeded The Afghan Whigs 'Gentlemen' which, we all know, is the best album ever, so I'm hoping it could signal a dulli comeback. I dot think he has another gentlemen in him, but then I dont think anyone has .
Very excited because I've just ordered an MP3 player. Apparently it can hold 6000 thousand 4 minute long songs. That'll be about 4 mogwai songs then.
Also, I apologise for my 'current listening' choice (the video is on the 'youknowsit' website). I've got to say I'm really lukewarm about the band, but it cant be ignored that this is just a f*cking great song
