I decided to make a good old traditional chocolate chip cookie recipie of my own. They turn out like tiny cakes; fairly soft with a firm outside.
1/2 c. softened butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. milk (2% best)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini-chips
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in milk, vanilla, and egg.
- In another bowl, combine soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add dry ingredients to creamed butter mixture along with chips. Mix well.
- Roll dough into balls (approx 1 tbsp.) and press lightly onto ungreased insulated baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-13 mins.
Milk is always good to go. :)
