Oh my goodness. I am so excited!
My orchestra has generated enough revenue to send us on tour through Spain and Portugal. I believe we're going to 6 cities so far, which (I think) is not bad for an ensemble which isn't at the professional level...
Aside from the great cultural side of this (and ability to play in another country, period), I'll get to test out my new language skills. I've been intensively studying Spanish this year, and although I am still adverse to the past tense, I'm going for fluency in a year and a half and I'm sure this tour will have a positive impact. :D
