And now making a delayed venture into the world of sewing...
...without any goddamn decent fabric shoppes! Honestly, I ask you... *angry sigh* What is a girl to do when all the Fanny's Fabrics stores close in your city??? Actually, they might have closed all over Canada. Hmm. Now my choices are limited to the rather dissapointing FabricLand or this dinky little fancy silks store called Olga's. *grumble*
I guess the upside is that I actually require copious amounts of fancy silk for my new project which is an absolutely stunning Marilyn Monroe-esque formal dress, with layers of fine silk chiffon. (I hope the pattern actually works.)
If it works out nicely I'll upload a picture of it on. And if it doesn't, I will anyways, just so I can laugh at myself in the future. <3
On another note, I am so looking forward to Breakfast on Pluto. It looks great. I never imagined the creepy psychologist from Batman would morph into such a pretty transvestite...
