† 001 † [audio]

[When Sindragosa speaks, her voice is a far cry from the shrieking, hoarse roar of before. It is now a strained, witchy whisper, hissing out from a mouth as dry as dust.]

The situation has since been explained to me…

[There is a long, long pause here. Then her cracked lips turn up into a smile, which can be heard subtly changing the tone of her words.]

Over and over and over, if I must admit, by two whelps who think they know justice.

[The laugh she gives is soft and sibilant. It lacks a single trace of humour.]

I know there is nothing I can do to colour you towards me now. My claim that I was not to know you were not my captors is sure to fall upon deaf ears, even with the irrefutable evidence of your initial aggression towards me.

I shall not press the issue.

[There’s a slow, creaking sound. Leather and cloth, stiff from cold.]

Certainly, I do not apologise for the damage I did, nor the lives I took. I acted in kind as was acted to me. I had no reason to think you were anything but an enemy, just as you did not have any reason but to think I was. And the fetters… the flaws of mortality are best rooted out anyway, are they not?

[Another mirthless laugh.]

But I suppose that is where our philosophies differ. And while such differing philosophies may be the cause of much strife and war and hatred in the dying lands of Azeroth… well. They have little place here.

[Her voice roughens and grows louder - closer to the harshness present in her voice before.]

These fae will suffer for taking me from my Master’s side. They will feel the cold hand of death upon their hearts. This prison of cooling meat is a mere setback. Perhaps it is a more effective one than this prison of stone and metal, but nevertheless. I will return to the glory my Master granted me, and when I do, these fae will rue the day they sought to imprison me!

[Her voice is a shriek now, precisely the same in tone (and even in volume) as it had been when she wore her Frostwyrm form.]

They will die. Nothing will stop me from annihilating them, of wiping them from the very face of reality! I will freeze their hearts, burn their souls, and grind their useless forms with my claws! Do you hear me, oh Faery Queen? Your children will beg for mercy under the shadow of my wings, and it will not be granted!

[She quietens. The feed continues for a while, and then that soft, hissing laugh can be heard again.]

I have known far worse prisons. I cannot be held forever.

[Sibilant laughter rolls once more, and then there is silence until the feed times out.]

mortals suffering pathetic magic etc etc, fools to have come to this place, a few whelps short of a brood, not a happy camper
