234: I have a problem.

Aug 30, 2009 12:01

It's been a while since I used the "depressing" tag.
Now, I would usually hide all of this under a cut, but this time I'd seriously like some opinions.

Okay, so I have a problem. My mom is a weak, suicidal idiot.
What do I do. What should my dad do. We're poor and they work 6 out of 7 days. I can't drive.

Now, you might say- oh Diana, you're so cruel. However, according to my poor dad who is trying to get her to eat at this very moment-
When she was a schoolteacher in Korea she wanted to die.
When she immigrated to America she said she wanted to die.
When she worked at a laundromat place she said she wanted to die.
When she worked as a waitress at a Japanese Restaurant she said she wanted to die.
(check it out, I'm born!)
When she worked at a clothes store in California she said she wanted to die.
When we workedlived at the Fleamarket she said she wanted to die.
And now, that they're running a sushi restaurant she's saying she wants to die.

Basically, whenever she works she wants to die.

/SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

at this very moment my dad is making slight progress in getting my mom to eat.
She tried to get out of the house, she's hid in the closet downstairs, tried to hang herself in the walk-in closet upstairs, epic-failed and caused my dad to finally tell her angrily that she's immature and and always says she wants to die. This isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened, so that was refreshing.

Strangely enough though, during my last huge woe-fest, when I told her that she needs to stop complaining, my dad got mad at me. said that I was an ungrateful brat. Hm... Oh well.

My dad is a freak of nature.

For putting up with this person.
