Product Review: E-cloth

I found these at the back of the Grassroots store in the Annex last week. It's a product range with a lot of options (according to the label), but only two of the actual types were in the store. At $9.99 each, they're not super-cheap, but they claim to be made from special fibres that clean thoroughly without the need for chemicals or even environmentally-friendly cleaners (it's 80% polyester, 20% polyamide). I picked up both types: the one for glass and mirrors, and the general purpose one for dusting, stainless steel, and the like.

I have to say, I like them both but I was BLOWN AWAY by how well the glass one works. I used it first on the living room windows (slightly damp as per instructions) and they were so gorgeous afterward, I ran around the house and did a bunch more windows and all the mirrors. Unbelievable. No lint left behind, not much scrubbing required.

The label says you can wash it up to 300 times and it will still work. Definitely two thumbs (greased elbows?) up for this product. :)
