Short summary: Martha Kent knew all about strange arrivals in Smallville. Perhaps that was why she was less phased than most people would be by the man appearing in her driveway in a flash of light.
A/N: This series is actually kind of experimental. The premise of this series is that Scott Summers didn't die in X-men 3 - he just got wisked away by unknown forces into another universe. Only this universe has superstrong farmboys that won't admit they're mutants, and the kids that do admit they're mutants keep trying to kill people. Each chapter is a snapshot of a significant event and how it changed - or didn't - thanks to Scott's presence. The first two chapters more or less set the scene, and after that I'm trying for one chapter per episode. WIP.
