Title: Light of Hope Part 1
Length: 1501 words
Summary: Clark decides to save Chloe and Davis from Oliver's justice, and manages to give both Chloe and Davis the happy ending they deserve. Absolutely no appearance of Jimmy Olsen at all, or Henry or whatever they call him these days. This chapter includes Oliver and the JL.

I don't own Smallville.

Oh, Clark, sometimes I still love you. Now is one of those moments. Love Douche!Oliver. I kinda thought this might happen, that he'd be willing to kill her if she got in the way.

Making so much more sense than Failsday. :)

You made me like Clark. You did! Makes so much more sense that *pointless emo* Clark. He does stuff. He'd getting a little closer to superman.
ALso, the Kryptonite pain was well described.

I always wanted to see this, Chloe and Clark trying to help Davis.
Also, Oliver with his dark kick might have sho Chloe. Love him still going ha!you love him Chloe (Beast). Love Chloe *not denying it*.

Thank you very much, all of you for your wonderful reviews, I have several more chapters ready to go, in fact the fic's almost done, just the aftermath is left. I'll post the next chapter in a couple days, there are a few tweaks I want to make.

As for douche Oliver, I always thought that his darkness started when Tess gave told him that Lionel killed his parents, and I can see him trying to kill Chloe to get to Davis. But later on in the fic, Oliver will get some sort of redemption, I was originally going to have him suffer a lot, but I'm still not sure what to do with him, but I'll wrap up his storyline somehow. Thanks again for all of the great comments, and I hope to have the next chapter up Wednesday night.

Oooo Oooo I can't wait. I look forward to see what you do with Oliver. I think what you've written really shows his main intent that I thought he's had all season. With what you've written it actually matches with his arc and showing it's all about revenge, instead of Failsday actually taking away from Ollies darkness arc and making him look like he was right all along.

Thanks for all of the wonderful comments, this is my first multi-chaptered Chlavis fic, and I am so pleased to have such kind feedback. The next chapter will be up tommorrow, and as for Oliver, well he's going to get it from all of his teammates after what he tried to do, he's in for a thrashing. New chapter tommorrow, and thanks for the great replies.
