Love means never having to say you're sorry

As I sit in the computer lab with half an hour to kill between classes, I shudder to realize that I have yet to comment on Voodoo. The window of opportunity to put my thoughts out there with any shred of lasting excitement is dwindling away like Nicole Richie so here goes:

-Loved hanging out with Kevin and assorted kids I met through Kevin all day.
-Spent too much money on a not so tasty margarita-ish drink and later realized I should have saved said money to purchase more beer cause the one I had with my dinner was way better than the daiquiri thing anyhow.
-Got to see Pam which was awesome. I miss my curly-haired roommate of yore.
-Didn't really know many of the bands but did enjoy the Zydo-Punks and Social Distortion very much.
-The Red Hot Chili Peppers make a very good case for being my favorite band. Very good. Like seriously, nothing feels better than hearing those opening notes of "Can't Stop" come out a crazy jam to start a rock show. Go ahead, beg to differ. I will hold my ground.
-I think Flea bought his outfit at the Limited Too or Rave. Sweet and affordable.
-Some big/little brother team temporarily blocked my perfect (on tip toe) view of John Frusciante because the big bro put the little bro on his shoulders. I was in too good a moood to really care and besides, if I was a tiny child who loved the Red Hot Chili peppers but couldn't even see the big screen ( cause I was so tiny) I'd crawl up on some shoulders too. Luckily, he only did this during songs off "By the Way" so when they played "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" I had my view.
-This year wasn't as magically delicious as 2004 but I look at it this way: in '04 I saw Green Day, Sonic youth, The Pixies, the Killers, Phantom Planet, Juliette and the Licks, and the Beastie Boys. Honestly, for any other show ever to compare I'd have to add the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the above line-up and have Ian Mckaye and Lucinda Williams and possibly Willie Nelson or Van Morrison all cameo. Still, the chili peppers alone come pretty damn close to perfection. That is all.

ahhh! how did this crap take so long to type? I put very little thought into it...but now, i must scurry away to class. next time i will wax philosophically on something more relevent, like how I cannot find my favorite sock hat or how I prefer slip on shoes to crap with laces (unless of course, the laces are fat).
