Purple Clouds

The front gardens are nearly finished. In this last shape (only because there is no more room except the spacing to walk between)after another watering tomorrow eve, the sprinkling of seeds - all sizes, all shapes, all colors. Desert wildflower mix, columbine, a rosemary christmas shaped tree and the barrel cacti. I just realized tonight, it's shaped like a stocking.

Most of the Christmas lights are up, only the pine tree trunks left. Wrapped in white they will the guardians. The old couple down the street out on their twice daily walk, stopped by to say how pretty they looked. They chuckled that they were too old to put them up, but it was nice to see them as they walk about the neighborhood.

The sun was setting just as I finished watering. There had been whispy clouds all day, the sky was aquamarine blue, the eastern sky was littered with purple clouds while the western clouds were still yellow, turning orange. Directly above, the clouds looked like the wake of a passing boat on a lake and rippled with red. It was another spectacular sunset.

An Indian summer kinda of day.
smile.
