I can be a bit hopeless in shopping. If I need something I get it, not thinking about shopping around or the price. Like buying a Ralph Lauren polo shirt when really Target ones would do. I'm all for convenience and not getting lost in Westfield.
So I wanted some socks to wear running that didn't leave me with blisters and sore balls of the foot. (Oh! I didn't post about my success at the Bridge run in 72 minutes - it's 9ks and I made a good effort to jog even though walking would have been faster). I was in Athlete's Foot with
benno37 (no more sprinting in kp26s for him), and seized the opportunity to get some socks.
For $30 I now have a pair of lightfeet running socks, one left one right, padded bits, airflow, moisture management, arch support! They are incredible. They feel so different. I should go to the park!
