happy belated easter

i hope you all had a good time, i totally over indulged in chocolate, yuck. On friday i managed to demolish a 'cadbury's luxury egg' which is basically a really big chocolate egg with another medium size chocolate egg inside it, and then inside that egg is some more chocolates (just incase you're not quite a registered diabetic by the time you get through the second egg). anyway then yesterday i ate pretty much the whole of a 'Lint easter bunny' they are totally amazing, but again fairly substantial in size.

so other than stuff my face i didn't do very much this weekend, i am currently in the middle of my 'exam essay' for english. its due friday but my plan is to have it done by wednesday so i can get back on with studying. its coming along okay - although my lack of motivation is concerning.

i signed up for the latest 'gym challenge' at my gym. its called 'the road to manderlay' they have this map up and so many kms on the treadmill etc signify so many miles on the map - i think i'm currently running past germany, which isn't that far into it as i still have eastern europe, russia, the middle east and the china to run through. i'm not even sure where manderlay is (or even how to spell it for that matter).

i'm going out this saturday night as it is Heather's birthday. i'm quite excited, Heather is my friend who i met when i worked in North Carolina, she is English but moved to Edinburgh in December (she graduated last year and got a job in edinburgh with a recruitment firm). so it should be a good night firstly because our friend Jenny is coming up from Manchester - not to over hype her but Jenny (who also worked with us that summer) is one of the funnist and coolest people i know. the second reason why i am excited to go - is because....drum roll please...i have not been on night out since.....February?....its been a harsh year so far, what can i say. Worse than that i have not been in a nightclub (i.e.Rosies) since JANUARY!!

hmm well i am going to go now and finish a novel for my next exam essay, and then do some reading for one of my history of art exams - some times i feel life is far too exciting....
