Last night Joe and I, with a couple of friends went to see Bruce Springsteen in concert. None of us are fans at all really but big stars *never* come to Charleston, and Joe wanted to see someone that good even though we dont know more than two or three of his songs lol.
The show was phenomenal! He is a great great act and boy did he put on a stella show. The crowd was wild for him (the tickets sold out in a morning of going on sale, the coliseum was packed to the rafters)... he played the longest encore ever heard lol... like an extra 8 songs, then closed it up...the crowd was still chanting so one more for the road. He was really in the crowd too... hanging his legs over the edge of the stage...bringing a kid on stage to sing with him, and awesomely doing a knee slide...
I ended up only know 4 of the songs... 2 of them being covers...but it was a great three hours and I would definitely recommend even non-fans seeing him live.
Ok gushing over... back to watching generation kill...
oh and a side note... his lead guitarist was one of Tony Soprano's henchmen...I kid you not lol
