Pig Pickin'
So last night was the pig pickin' and it was a very tasty pig I must say! :D They smoked it whole, even with the head on...which was a surprise as you pay for the head but cannot eat it... Joe's best friend Tim brought down his competition smoker and a whole ton of his homemade barbecue sauce (you can buy it on a website..its won awards). Pig could have done with a few more hours on the smoker to make it fall off the bone but it was cooked and pretty darn good
Joe was stinkin' drunk when I got there just after 8pm...he had been drinking since 9am and he carried on with some jaegermeister and vodka shots...we left a little before 1am, and I spent the next few hours attending to his puking in a bucket...what fun lol. He is now curled up in a fetal position on the couch (I won't let him in the bed as he is dirty!)...being a little sick and generally feeling like death warmed up. I have given him water, green tea (tea usually settles my stomach...he threw it up), and some toast...but he is still rather pathetic... I told him to go and shower as he will feel better (and I will tuck him into bed..I swear his feet are black right now eugh I have cream sheets damnit) but he has rolled over and is sleeping. Thank goodness he had the forsight to book a day off work tomorrow because I foresee that he will feel just as bad tomorrow.
