ANdy's journal about when me and joy went to albany
Jon's sister Suz and her friend Joy decided to visit Albany to visit Jon and see the school. Jon asks me to come pick them up at the bus station, so I go with him. We get therw and pick up the girls and I help JZ carry her bag and Jon helps Suz. Not much else really happens until that night when we all go to Denny's. It is very cold out unfortunately so I was freezing. JP was there with us and everyone had an ok time.
The next day we relaxed a little bit. Then we went to dinner at Fridays. It was lots of fun. Once again it was the 4 of us and JP. That night Suz and Joy wanted a party, so Jon and I decided to be amazing and get people together. Nikki wanted to meet Jon's sister anyway. Plus Irina , fresh off turning 21, wanted to get really drunk. We didn't really have a party, but there was alcohol. I finally got all the dooms straight thanks to some on the spot tutoring from Suz. They all loved Irina b/c Irina worked the room. I didn't leave Irina alone, except for 2 minutes to pee, and in that span of time she managed to tell Suz, Joy, JP, and Jon that her current bf isn't jealous of me and that she could lay naked in bed with me b/c she knows and her bf knows that nothing would happen. I can't leave her alone at all it seems. Jon spoke and shocked Nikki. Elliot stayed in his room mostly b/c JP went to him so he had no reason to come out. Irina had Saul come to walk her home. Irina showed up at my place drunk and left even drunker. Thene everyone left and I went to play poker with Nikki, Mark, and Elliot. I won.
The next day was monday. We all went shopping in the mall. American eagle had amazing sales. I got good stuff at cheap prices. We split up from Irina and Nikki. Then it happened.... I told Irina and Nicole to meet us in the food court after they finished at american eagle. Suz and Joy wanted me to say 5 pm, but i wanted them at the food court earlier b/c I didn't trust Irina. They of course didn't show and Irina turned oof her cell phone. Suz and Joy were NOT happy. They felt it was very rude and couldn't understand how Irina could be so insensitive. Suz and Joy are so young that I don't think they can fully comprehend how bad Irina can be.
After Irina and Nikki resurface, we drive in bad weather to price chopper. I buy dinner and Irina cooks for me. She then taks to me and goes through her lies as usual. After her bs is over I walk her home b/c she is afaraid of the dark. The weather was bad, but I didn't want to make her walk alone if she really felt uncomfortable about it. Lucky I walked her b/c she was slipping everywhere.
The next day we had a snow day. So me, Jon and the girls played in the snow. We didn't have a football so we p;layed with a soft white ball. The teams were JZ and Jon vs. me and Suz. The snow got all in my boots and made my feet become frost bitten and i didn't wear gloves. I was sliding everywhere. Me and Suz lost 4-1 but it wa s agood game. On one play JZ gets the ball and runs and I touch her but instead of stopping she keeps running and twists me and I almost smacked into a tree. luckily I let go of her or I would have flung her into the tree with me. I think Jon may have let Suz score out only touchdown but it's ok, it was fun. Suz got revenge after the game by beating Jon down as i cheered her on. I was very proud of her.
After that we went back and played this game. You name a famous person, and then the next person names a famous person whose first letter in their first name is the same as the person just named's last name. Like is I said Greg Maddux, you could say Michael Jordan. The catch is, one other person must know the name you just said. That made it hard for me b/c the girls and Jon did not know a lot of people I said. Most famous was the Fordam Flash Frankie Fisch. How Jon could not know that name is beyond me. They also didn't know the names Christy Canyon or Janine. They didn't know Paula Poundstone either. Nor did thery know donna DeEricho from Baywatch fame. They also, and this shocked me, didn't know Walter Mattheau, even though he was in lots of movies, nor did they know Fiorello LaGuardia despite knowing the airport that was named in honor of him. Luckily I had back ups to everything.
As we played Suz tried to hammer Jon with the letter K. Jon responded with Kenny Reugin, some kid he played dodgeball with. This kid was not only NOT famous, none of us had ever heard of him, including Suz. Yet everytime Jon would say kenny Reugin. We all couldn't stop laughing, especially Suz.
After that we went to Friendly's and had delicious food. Suz and Joy ordered grilled cheese, while me and Jon got more filling food. Then the girls went to pack.
The next day we took them to the bus station. Jon couldn't park b/c some scary guy yelled at us, so i went in witht he girls while Jon waited outside. I said my emotional, heart felt goodbyes to Suz and JZ and proceeded outside to Jon. He and I left to go back to amazing campus and made plans for happy hour on friday. The sweet end to the fun weekend. Perhaps the girls should come visit more often. I know this entry was a little long, and I cut out soem stuff also, but that wa sbasically the weekend that was. Suz, if you can read this journal, and you should be able to, just comment on it that you can read it.
