Heck, I'm not gonna lie. It's really about Stiles, AKA Dylan O'Brien.
First, if you don't mind spoilers - and even if you're not familiar with the show - I HIGHLY suggest you watch this awesome, awesome video about Stiles' storyline so far this season. It's really well done with a fantastic song choice. Spoilers through the latest episode.
Okay, so season 3 is double the length of the previous seasons - 24 eps instead of 12 - but it's pretty much two separate seasons anyway. 3A is generally regarded by fandom as a huge pile of crap. Sadly, there are a lot of reasons for this.
3B, however, is like a DIFFERENT SHOW. It's like they learned from their mistakes. It's even better than it was before 3A and even though this post is focusing on Stiles/Dylan, practically every aspect of the show has improved.
However, now the reason I'm posting:
DYLAN IS SO FUCKING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so Stiles has been possessed this season and though many shows have done this before, what Teen Wolf is doing right is doing it as a major arc with huge consequences. This is not a one-episode angst-fest - it's an all-season nightmare and Dylan O'Brien is FUCKING. KILLING. IT. I am actually waiting for the day he gets an Oscar. I'm not even joking or exaggerating - I GENUINELY BELIEVE this is going to happen one day. He is THAT GOOD.
HOLY CRAPOLA.
I SERIOUSLY CANNOT GET OVER HOW GOOD HE IS. I HAVE WATCHED THAT MUSIC VID LIKE A MILLION TIMES. I DO NOT KNOW HOW I'M GOING TO GET THROUGH THE WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT EPISODE. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
