Okay, so I've never seen the show. I like a potato being the best friend. It shows angst at the heart of the hero. He loves a potato. HE MUST BE LONELY AND NEED LOVE.

So wait. Is this one of these OMG STILES/DEREK BECAUSE OMG FANGURL IS MELTING or is it canon?

Because if not, just from that post, I want to slash Derek/Stiles's dad the sheriff. OMG THE JOCKEYING FOR TOP POSITION ALONE. Or, OMG VILLAIN/SHERIFF. Actually, Stiles's dad with pretty much anyone. *izhot*

And, yeah, I'm officially old. My first thought on seeing Stiles was "But he's a child>"

All I can say about Stiles/Derek is that it's not canon...yet. But there is the actual possibility. The show is VERY gay-friendly (homophobia doesn't exist, Stiles wants to know if he's attractive to gay guys; is jealous when they sneak into a gay bar and Scott gets hit on and he doesn't. Danny is openly gay and dating, Jackson insists he's EVERYONE'S type, there's background M/M and F/F kissing like it's no big thing, etc etc). Plus, the entire cast - and creator - ship it and play with it because they know the fans love it.

However, I agree that Stiles' dad needs to GET SOME, SRSLY.
