Smallville Season 9 finale
Hot DAMN, that was good. I was enjoying everything EXCEPT for Lois being tricked by Zod (I HATE those plot lines, because they always make the characters seem DUMB DUMB DUMB). I shouldn't have worried - of COURSE Lois would test him <3 <3 <3
Not sure what the point of Metallo this season was...I thought for sure he'd help out in the finale.
Aside from the v dodgy CGI when the Kandorians were burning Zod's symbol everywhere, this episode LOOKED FANTASTIC. I simply adore how this show films stunts with FX. It looks more and more like a comic book all the time and I LOVE it.
Other things I loved:
* The future flash! Confident Lois! The flash of the costume! LEX RUNNING FOR PRESIDENCY (this made me so happy, I can't even tell you. Michael Rosenbaum's face FTW! \o/)
* The costume being reflected in Clark's eyes
* Tess KICKING ZOD'S ASS
* Lois KNOWING Clark has something he's hiding
* I mentioned the stunts already, but seriously, the stunt where Lois went flying into the phone booth
* Clark and Zod's final fight. Both guys did fantastically well and it was filmed beautifully
* The moment when Zod realises EVERY SINGLE KANDORIAN HEARD WHAT HE WHISPERED TO CLARK. OHHHHHHH, HE IS IN *SO MUCH TROUBLE*
* Chloe and Ollie were SOCUTEOMG this entire ep. "I love you!" "I love you, too!"
* All the other heroes <3 Even if they were only there via video
* I could've done without Clark's Jesus Fall, but I did love the expressions on both their faces
* Lois' realisation after she and The Blur kissed <3
Also, I didn't post about it at the time, but last week was EPIC, too. Martha FTW! \o/ I had no idea she'd be in it, or that she'd turn out to be who she'd turn out to be. Also: PERRY FREAKING WHITE!!!!!!!!!!
SEASON NINE WAS SO FREAKING GOOD! Honestly, there were only a few episodes that I felt disappointed in. Generally - ass-kicking to the extreme. 'Checkmate' in particular was AMAZING.
