After much sweating and cursing, I've finally gotten the Miss Hissy Fit website and online store up and running. I totally see why webmasters (or webmistresses!) get paid buttloads of money to do this crap. But since I am lacking in buttloads of money, I've had to learn to do it myself thanks to the folks at GoDaddy.com (who are very, very helpful if any of y'all are thinking about starting a website of your own).
Here's where you should go right now to check it out:
Miss Hissy Fit For those of you who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, Miss Hissy Fit is a business my daughters and I started a few months ago. We make towel wraps, towel sets, hand-dyed pajamas, purses, and various and sundry other pretties for sale. These are awesome gifts (if you've been putting off graduation gifts, boy are we the place for you!) and great treats for yourself, too. All of our items are LOUD. When I say loud, I mean, if you think something is too bright or too wild, it's just right for us. Whoever said "Less is More" never met us.
Since we are a kitchen table (bathroom sink, kitchen counter, living room floor, etc...) business, we have a limited budget for promotion. To translate that delicately put sentence -- we got no money to advertise, period. We are relying on our friends (or fiends!) to help us spread the word about our little business and generate some traffic.
SO, here comes the shameless pimp -- please go look and tell your friends to go look. If you know a retailer who might be interested, please send them our way. If you need presents for graduation (birthday, whatever) give us a chance to wow you. If you have suggestions, please fling them our way. If you have a website, we'd really appreciate a link.
Thanks for the help, guys.
