We went for a 14-mile bike ride yesterday. It was so awesome. Then we went to pick strawberries, but because of HOT FUCKING HOT it's been, strawberry season is ending early. So we couldn't pick them, we had to buy them. Lame.
So now I have 6 quarts of Ohio farm strawberries, 8 jars, 2 pie crusts, and shortbread fixins. I'm making every strawberry dish known to me. I'm most looking forward to the jam. Also, the strawberry-rhubarb pie.
One of the consultants that just came in designed the Mothman beanie baby for the Mothman Festival (which I attended last fall). I hope we can find him a job because that's awesome.
