Narrative time

With all her visitors gone, Suzie sat back on her pillows and looked at the little figurine Puck had left for her. She honestly couldn't say why she'd chosen him, but it seemed right. He looked to be a couple of years younger than she was, and dressed in the same style as Sir Percy often was. He seemed nice, though, for a carving, so she put him gently on her bedside table, watching over her. Somehow, it took away some of the fear that hit her every time she was left alone once more, though she still shivered under the warm blankets.

She thought back over her visitors for the day. Alistair had turned out to be rather nice, and it really would be lovely to meet his lover. But more importantly, he'd said that Margot was around and would visit soon, which would be better than just about any other visitor she'd had thus far. And then Armand had turned up, most unexpectedly, which had been wonderful until he went all strange. She frowned remembering that. That's the second person who she'd been expected to know now and hadn't. Unless that dark man was Sir Andrew... And then there'd been Puck. She smiled at that. He'd told her more about what it meant to be a Gryffindor, but it still didn't seem quite right to her. Ah well. She glanced over at the figurine, smiled to herself, and curled up, hoping someone else would visit soon before the fear came too strongly.

Typist: Yes, ten points to anyone who guessed correctly. The figurine is Sir Andrew Ffoulkes. So not is all quite lost. Although I am somewhat worried about the fact that she's possibly connecting the name with Chauvelin... Anyway, visitors still more than welcome. She'll appear to be asleep, but call out anyway. Sleep's something that's hard to come by right now for her.
